An explanation from me - not a flounce!

Morning, all. I have been an active member of this forum for quite a while now. I have a great respect for Ken and the trials and tribulations he has had to endure - indeed I can empathise with him over his tragic loss of Carmen.

So why am I posting this?

I have commented on my thoughts about the direction of the board. This is largely down to one poster who since joining has been VERY prolific with both posts and threads. Whilst this is obviously great for traffic on the site reluctantly I have to say I like neither the direction nor the desire to dominate the board as this appears to be the obvious MO.

Some could say ignore him! If this were to be the case - I wouldn't open any threads! Slight exaggeration - but not by much!

He feels the desire to be right in EVERY subject matter - which of course he isn't. I could comment about the arrogance shown - but that is there for all to see.

To me, this is a development of the board I don't feel 100% comfortable with. Of course, I realise in a true democracy you cannot gag anyone. That is a fundamental base of democracy. So the alternative is if you feel neither comfortable or in agreement you have a choice. And that is what I've done.

Whilst still looking at the board - I have a great respect for the majority of posters - I can't see myself contributing to threads like I have done.

Something I say with a heavy heart.

Ken, my respect for you remains total. Just a shame recent developments and the desire of one person to dominate and massage their own ego, is - in my opinion- detrimental to the board.

Some may agree with my sentiments and others disagree, I get that.

I say this to everyone because i believe it and that is no one has to explain any personal decision they make to anyone mate.

On a personal level i will ask you to reconsider. We have chatted a bit Nosmo and i know we have a connection because we understand something personal to both of us.

I need that "support" Nosmo. I need that "empathy and sympathy". You have gave me both words and help since my life fell apart when Carmen went.

That dont me think of you just as a member but a friend fella.
