Not a fan of female football so i just dont watch it.

But that does not mean im against females playing the game.

Marske Utd have folded i think. Could Thornaby be next? There is just no money in non league football.

The game is all inclusive now. Even if the ladies side is struggling financially or staff wise, that was completely the wrong way to deal with it.

It was a weird decision if based purely on financial issues.  Surely spreading costs across more teams would benefit the club financially?  Yes there are some additional costs but they could easily be recouped with additional subscriptions etc and there would be greater overall revenue to pay fixed costs, upkeep etc.

After all that's why the media etc are all falling over themselves to push women's football - it's a new untapped revenue stream.
