Attended this morning with posters off flyme & really enjoyed it, a bit apprehensive at first due to the fact when my name gets mentioned on flyme in amongst a good few comments the same one or two will leave a negative comment, why, beats me
I just wanted to show fellow Boro fans & forum posters that im not as bad as some have painted me out to be, so thankyou @Norman_Conquest for arranging the meetings

Anyway felt at home, everyone got on so well & they arranged a date to meet up next month, sadly I cant make anymore meetings till the earliest September/October

Proves one thing, take away politics & the average Boro will happily talk about anything under the sun from football, in our case the mighty Boro to George Best to historial buildings to gardens

I needed today for a pick me up & I got it

We'll have have a meet up arranged, over to you @RiversideRifle

Thankfully I decided to stop posting OTR with such restrictions, yes name call, abuse a fellow poster is fine, call people scum is ok but we'll remove contend if it shows something we disagree with in good light

I think RR is a far superior board in everyway possible & one thing we have on here is real Boro facts, memorabilia, as below & friendly chat, really pleased I chose to post on RR

People shouldn't knock these meetings, its not who is going, its what we get out of it. In the past when I posted OTR I mentioned from time to time, especially nights when I got down I would delve in to my memorabilia & before I knew it I had posted numerous threads on there from Boro days gone by to music of my youth, with returned comments my spirits lifted & I was on the road to feeling good about myself again

When I left the coffee club to meet my wife in the town I was buzzing, I contacted both my son & daughter to tell them so, just seeing people look at my collection with such fondnesss & the comments I received blew me away, I actually felt 10 feet tall, yes I lost my sister only weeks before but I have also been dealt another hammer blow & believe me, moments like this are gold, so may thanks Norman & Guisborough Rob for kicking this off
