Attended this morning with posters off flyme & really enjoyed it, a bit apprehensive at first due to the fact when my name gets mentioned on flyme in amongst a good few comments the same one or two will leave a negative comment, why, beats me
I just wanted to show fellow Boro fans & forum posters that im not as bad as some have painted me out to be, so thankyou @Norman_Conquest for arranging the meetings

Anyway felt at home, everyone got on so well & they arranged a date to meet up next month, sadly I cant make anymore meetings till the earliest September/October

Proves one thing, take away politics & the average Boro will happily talk about anything under the sun from football, in our case the mighty Boro to George Best to historial buildings to gardens

I needed today for a pick me up & I got it

It was really good to catch up with you this morning Gordon, it's been too long.  I think everyone was blown away with the memorabilia you brought along.

I'm also not available now until September but it would be good to do it again either on this board or the other.

Great post @erimus74 - you're right, when people actually talk face to face they tend to get along. 

I doubt most of the chief shit flingers OTR would attend something like that though.

Another reason people get along in person vs being loudmouths online is because the person you are talking to is right in front of you and old school ramifications are likely if you step out of line.  Too many Beta Club gobshites have never been smacked in the mouth - they'd actually benefit from it.

From reading his posts i kind of "feel him". I can both empathise and sympathise with/for him.

Boro message boards are pretty niche.. more likely that not to have more in common with folks than not.

Would be a turn up for the books after all of that invasion bollocks Juninho Burger was trying to stir up.

Just ends up making people look very silly when things end up being nothing like how they describe.

I think its great that we all laughed, spoke & told stories of what we wanted to talk about to peopke who were genuinely interested & hope, more members from both sides will meet up & the constant opinions, some dont agree with so have to leave a negative comment, becomes a thing of the past

Sorry not up to me to say who is who regarding usernanes but in real terms its Chris, Alan, Rob, Chris, Ian, Stephen, Harry?, me, Mark & Peter.

Peter, far right to me, spoke to me about my late brother Ketty, who he knew very well, nice to hear good comments about him, who a few on here knew well too, he also said his mam & dad were devestated on hearing the sad news of his passing, very comforting to hear
