Is getting fucking hammered in this debate.
He is full of shit with no answers.

Scary times coming up.

Clem Fandango

Labour's strategy is to keep their heads down, don't fuck it up by making any definitive statements or promises and just ride the "we are not the Conservatives" ticket to victory.

borope

Cant wait for them to ruin the Oil and Gas industry.  :rav:

I can guarantee otr it will be complete opposite. It was when Corbyn got murdered in them.

Starmer has just said he has never used private health. Can guarantee Tory strategists are now devolving into any health treatment he or members of his family have ever had

Kippers

The way things are in 12 months time is Raynor will be PM and Boris will be back in charge of the Tories.

Starmer just hasn't got it. He is like the proverbial rabbit in the bright lights.

borope

All crying OTR that its biased towards Tories of course.

Bud Wiser

Theres no question sickly Starmer will be ousted from within well before his term is up.

As Boris quite rightly said: The country needs a leader not a lawyer.

So in an increasingly dangerous world I wonder how a possible Trump lead U.S. would relish doing business with the likes of Angela Raynor & David Lammy?

I've got a feeling that might come back and bite him.
Hard to believe he has never had private health insurance or undergone a private medical.
And if not, why not? He would be taking pressure off the "underfunded and overworked" NHS.

Soon as he said it I was like, hang on a minute that's a bold statement to make. Might be true but every inch of his and family medical history will be getting dug into

If whataboutary floats your boat then yes Starmer won. If answers about how to solve these problems Sunak wiped the floor with him.
Starmer had no answers other than what the Tories have done over 14 years. He didn't even have a plan for the migrants who land on the beaches over here.

Very blinkered view Newy. If Starmer impressed you - good luck.As a potential Prime Minister God help us. What came across was unless he is coached in most aspects of how to answer questions the guy is clueless.

The facial expressions, constant licking of lips showed a weakness and fully exposed him.

Neither impressed me.. not a blinkered view to have one different from yours. to me I saw a split decision.. in favour of Starmer. the audience laughed at Rishi over the NHS waiting lists (a knockdown by Kier) and then gasped when he tried to blame the junior doctors.

It was close.. Rishi's better the devil you know closing speech didn't cut the mustard for me.

I thought Keir gave Sunak too much time and was no where near aggressive enough.

Sitting back, not saying anything controversial and giving Sunak enough rope to hang himself must be the name of the game.

It did like that bite and that knockout punch tho..

I dont get this 14 years issue.
I think most people would be reasonably happy over the last 14 years. What is it you want ?

So striking junior doctors are not a factor? Better tell them Newy as their strikes are therefore futile.

Striking doctors didn't tell Rishi sunak that waiting lists were going down when they were going up.

If that was Diane Abbott it would be meme city!

whataboutery.. you're gonna get that in a discussion I'm afraid.

the conservatives government has created the problems we have.. so I guess the simplest most inoffensive response to that is to not be the conservative government.

Has Sunak got a spine? Laughed at the idea of working class friends, can't use a bank card, can't fill up a car with petrol, made his money on the back of the financial crash and has been sorting out his wife's billionaire family business.

Oh, and he didn't even want British citizenship.. a US citizen paying tax to the US.

as wet as keir came across.. for me.. sunak got the worst and most extreme reactions from the audience

i'm not saying that's how it was.. just as I saw it. not saying i'm right or wrong. just my perception.
