1994/95 - 2024/25

I have been compiling a final season at Ayresome Park A3 140 plus pages scrapbook since 1994 after it was announced that we'd be moving from Ayresome Park & Robbo was coming to the Boro

Its more or less complete with what I was putting in the scrapbook, every match report from that final season, every team photo, fixtures, scores & stats of every season of the 93 we were at AP, also of other match reports, photos, cuttings of Ap demolished, including lots of other interesting stuff thats happened within our stay at the famous old ground

Started off in the boysend in late 71 with my younger brother, promoted to the holgate 75 to 79, first with our dad then me mates, 79 onwards south terrace/south stnd with me dad & the final season, nostalgia reason, back in the holgate with my mates

Sadly been going to the Riverside longer than AP but my overall memories will be back at our beloved old stamping ground

Great post as always Erimus 👍Started  attending AP in 1959 and over the years have experienced lots of lies and highs following the Mighty Boro. An interesting fact about AP that I recently found out is that it was designed by a Scotsman Archibald Leitch who designed a few grounds around the country.UTMB !!!

Yes he was a well know architect back then

Simon English back in 1988 wrote in his football grounds book
When you teavel to away grounds, especially night games, you look for the pylon floodlights as a guide, going to Middlesbrough is like a needle in a haystack, not ideal due to all the pylons situated at the rail tracks close to Ayresome Park
