Ups and downs and ins and outs.. who is most likely, who are we bothered about.

Hull City - Tim Walter
Sunderland - Will Still
Norwich City - Liam Rosenior
West Ham United - Julen Lopetegui
Brighton & Hove Albion - Keiran McKenna
Man Utd - Mauricio Pochettino
England - Graham Potter

Current favourites to succeed with Julen Lopetegui taking the role with West Ham as we speak.

Will Still has been muted for a while at Sunderland.. they couldn't wait to bring him in apparently. Liam Rosenior will do well where ever he goes.. I really rate that lad. Poch at Man Utd? might as well eh. Potter for England.. the Americans will love that!

Tim Walter for Hull will have to hit the ground running.. there must be big expectations there for next season.

Impressed with Keiran McKenna at Ipswich.. but wouldn't be too impressed if he jumped ship. Maybe a tad too soon for him imo.. I'm guessing we'll have to wait until October to find out who the new Sheffield United manager is going to be  Steve Cooper or Paul Heckingbottom?

Getting Burnley relegated is a must have for any modern day manager

That's the Burnley way! They didn't suit Vincent Kompany did they.. they need more of a nuts and bolts manager.

newyddion

It's written in the starts that Chris Wilder takes the Burnley job!

Attitude over abiliteh

newyddion

Wayne Rooney for the Plymouth Argyle job? Neil Warnock was linked at the back end of the season.. pretty sure he could have done the business for them.

Rooney is a strange one. Fantastic player.. but never stuck me as someone who would be particularly good as a manager. Helped massively at Derby with Liam Rosenior.

Championship is a really good level and there's countless decent managers out there still out of work. Steve Cooper with his resting shart face will no doubt be waiting for a bigger job to come along.

But then there's.. Nigel Pearson, Alex Neil, Gareth Ainsworth & Paul Ince all of which would be way up the list for me. The Cowley brothers seem to have dropped off out of the picture.. highly rated at one point by some of our fans.

Ural Quntz

Seems clear who was doing the right things with Derby

Clue - not Rooney

Great to see Kieran McKenna signing a 3 year contract with Ipswich.

Graham Potter currently favourite to take over at Brighton.

Steve Cooper linked with the Burnley job.

Steve Cooper turned down the Burnley job.. Frank Lampard could be on!!

Burnley have Craig Bellamy, assisted by Mike Jackson, in the roles of Acting Head Coach and Assistant Head Coach

At what?

He's dealt with the press brilliantly., very disarming.. he's done great with our younger players and he's got rid of the inter club rivalries we had with previous generations.

Great manager, hit the ground running at Boro whilst constantly having the rug pulled from under him. Dreadful recruitment and the banks pulling the plug in our relegation season was the main reason we went down.. not Southgate.

Sacking him was one of the worst decisions that this club has made. Glad he's doing so well with England.

Glad he's doing so well with England.
He's done great with England... right up until his arse goes and he reverts to being conservative and dull AF.

Sitting back after the early lead in the Euro 2020 final was so stupid. We should have kept pressure on Italy - we would have scored again and made sure of it.  His tactics screamed a lack of confidence in the team and not knowing what to do in the moment.

His over reliance on his "favorites" despite form has been another consistent failing - so his squad selection this time around has been refreshing.  We'll see.

He has been blessed with some superb attacking players - has he really got the best out of them?

His focus on every social issue of the day rather than his team selection and tactics is retarded.

Plus... he's a tit.

Done better than most.. got closer than most. Seems to handle the social issues well. Other managers have come cropper over not playing the game.

Two thumbs up from me.

Two fingers from me! Dull as ditchwater to watch. And he has some half decent players at his disposal

newyddion

Will Still is buggering off to Lens!

Sunderland have been sniffing around him for long enough..didn't think they'd get their man.

Fingers crossed for Frank Lampard!

newyddion

Done:
Hull City - Tim Walter
Norwich City - Johannes Hoff Thorup
West Ham United - Julen Lopetegui
Chelsea - Enzo Maresca
Bayern - Vincent Kompany

To be done..

Brighton - Graham Potter?
Leicester - Steve Cooper?
Burnley - Craig Bellamy?
Sunderland - Liam Rosenior would be a great fit for them.. could be very expensive if they get the appointment wrong. He's already turned down Norwich so maybe there's no chance there. Paul Heckingbottom perhaps?

Certainly taking their time over it.. could there be trouble behind the scenes?
