Don't think I've every walked into a voting station with pride and voted for someone I was confident would represent my best interests.

I have some years ago when the BNP had a candidate round these parts before the establishment done a number on them as usual.

I have some years ago when the BNP had a candidate round these parts before the establishment done a number on them as usual.

BNP then UKIP then the Brexit party and now Reform.. they are still there. Probably more part of the establishment than before. Conservatives have made no secret of courting those vote. Just as they did with the Lib Dems and the DUP before them.

No the BNP / Britain First parties are nothing like UKIP Reform Brexit parties. BNP were simply telling people decades ago what problems mass uncontrolled immigration would bring to the British Isles and immediately labelled knuckle dragging racists. fast forward to today the main parties all blowing shite up peoples arses with " we will stop the boats " we will send people to Rwanda " We will not allow anyone to stay here who comes in illegally"  If the BNP said that 25 years ago the main stream media would have had a field day like they did at the time .. but here we are today and who's the knuckle dragging racists ?

We've had our leg well and truly lifted! We are well and truly steeped in Third Way politics, the American system of right or further right. Politics has been privatised and anyone of note we vote for has a financial conflict of interest. It is no coincidence that two of our prime ministers of recent years have had American citizenship.. their interests and priorities lie outside of the United Kingdom.

The left and the right has always been about money, public money and where it goes. The left, to public services and infrastructure and the right, to private entities, companies, individuals.. donors.

This has been taken to its furthest extreme in recent years.. not just publicly owned assets such as the rail network.. sold to political party donors on the cheap and then subsidised. (So we end up paying more for stuff we already owned.. not just in extortionate pricing, over the top greedy profits.. but we subsidise their profits with public money!)

It's been a total smash and grab.. a sustained pillage. Ridiculous how far it has been taken. Uncompetitive public contacts being given to unqualified unprepared friends and associates in a time of crisis. Duff PPE not delivering on time for more than established companies wound charge. Socialism for the rich.

The NHS is the big cash cow and yes privatisation did start with Tony Blair's PFI's.. Cameron and Clegg with the Health and Social Care Act 2010 signed its death warrant. It's been driven into the ground by successive prime ministers.. most notably Boris Johnson and now we have the likes of Wes Streeting running their hands with glee, they all have financial interests US healthcare firms and it doesn't take a genius to figure out how that will pan out.
