4th July confirmed..... puts the brakes on some of the work I am currently doing which was launched yesterday. Done a partnership with Britains Got Talent which is supposed to run semi finals week, adverts have been done, not sure if we can run them now

Looked like Penny Mordaunt was going to take over at one point.. before her 'fight and win' speech.

Then I thought David Cameron would be drafted in as a 'plan b' candidate. Pushing for 'brenter' with the likes of Tobias Ellwood and Rory Stewart.

It will be interesting to see what Sunak comes up.. or if he's actually that arsed about it all. Why would a billionaire want to be stuck doing an office job in the UK?

Either way, the best chance the Conservatives have of avoiding a Labour lanslide is by Sunak himself standing down as PM with immediate effect.

I think Rishi is looking for a way out of politics - and he will no doubt get it!

Defections, plotters, unable to shift the gap with Labour, any good news met with total apathy it really isn't a great outlook.

Defeat will mean the inevitable party leadership change- and this will enable an exit route for him.
