Giles is a strange one. In an advanced position his delivery into the penalty area creating goal scoring opportunities is exceptional. Defending? Different proposition completely.

To me, a central defender, couple of midfielders and striker is of greater priority

I think we might go in big on a striker/ number 10- as we've been threatening to do for the past few seasons.

Chuba Akpom would be the moist obvious name to go for in a the game of speculation.

Man City have cooled their interest of Gabriel Misehouy from Ajax a very exciting prospect at 18yo and will have all the big boys sniffing round. I think that we look like a great prospect for that sort of player to make the step up with. We've got a few dutch lads in the squad now and Teesside airport still has regular flights to Amsterdam.. doesn't it?

I'm 90% sure that Andrew Moran from Brighton will be linked with us at some point. I'd be surprised if Louie Sibley's agent didn't drop our name into the ring to get his next deal bolstered.

Kevin Denkey has to be the best shout I've heard of.. Denkey up top with Latte Lath sitting a bit deeper?

Jhon Durán seems very excited to join Chelsea.. he seems to tick all the boxes of a Boro transfer. The fact that he may move to Chelsea only makes it more likely for me that he will end up joining us!
