I fell off a ladder 26 years. I was painting the upstairs window frames and listening to the 1st Division playoff final on the wireless; Charlton v Mackem Bastards.

I laughed so much when that plum Micky Gray missed the deciding penalty that I fell off the ladder.
I was 31 then and I bounced better. Despite the risk at a brittle 57 (nearly) the ladders will be out again for Leeds on the 26th.

If it's Bamford that misses it I'll add a somersault.

I'd like to see Leeds go up.. they're a bit of a crackpot team.. they always seem to have the potential to make massive financial blunders.. mo money mo problems. Plus they looked really strong this season and will be one of the favourites to go up next season if they remain in the champo.

I remember watching that in the Southern Cross. was a great day.

They wouldn't be such a threat if they stayed down next season. They'd lose Summerville, Rutter & Gnonto for sure  - and probably Archie Gray too.

Good luck Southampton/West Brom!
