The fact it had taken nearly 3 years i think was taken into account in the end.

They make a law where it has to be within 6 months of the post then it becomes a summary offence.

But somehow the CPS have the "option" for the 6 month rule to start FROM WHEN THEY GET THE POLICE REPORT.

11 months ago an Inspector told my MP and the PCC that a file had sent to the CPS. I have proof of what was said by the inspector.
But CPS "said" they got the police file within 6 months.
I was NOT ALLOWED TO CONTEST THE CPS ANSWER.
