No matter your stance on smoking this is just plain bonkers. Why should shops possibly have to card a 42 year old?
This shambles in power are bringing in a separate law to cover shop workers who are victims of assault.
But also bring in a ridiculous law that puts shopkeepers at more danger of getting a slap.
Imaging being 42 and some wanker aged 20 in a beanie hat and goatee refuses to serve them?

Its the issues the law creates. There is no way it can be "policed".

Smokers are like car owners. Easily taxed.

People always focus on the health/money implications involved in smoking but in my opinion alcohol drinkers get an easy ride from society.
