It certainly beats a stick of rock!
Looks a grand old boy

He is - he came into the rescue centre where we go to walk the dogs (they have about 80 of them)

He is 8 years old and has been chained up his entire life!

His ears are split and burned due to sitting in the sun

He has no fur on his tail and hind quarters

He has heart worm and arthritis

Nor sure why his eyes run yet

The centre are sorting all that out and we'll have to treat his heart worm for two years

After all that his first reaction when we went to walk him was to lick our hand!

So he's coming over at the end of April when the centre have sorted his problems and he'll have a decent life at last

His name is Rex and he's a softy

Our resolve not to have another dog after Indy lasted 6 months!

read the post I am taking it he was sat in the sun all day chained up by the cunts who had him before he got rescued . They can't have him sat in the sun all day now at the rescue place .

It really breaks my heart that this stuff goes on.

To me having a dog should be a privilege not a right.

But all Rex needs is love and attention and the fact that Rex can still let a human provide that for him just proves how wonderful dogs are.

Exactly that Crocky - the guy who had him was one of those of limited intelligence when it came to looking after things

He was fond of animals though and collected all sorts, all of which had been neglected.

As clever as dog's are Mr Blotty they haven't mastered the "Power of speech" so language is irrelevant, it's the tone of the voice.

As for rest time will tell.

He'll certainly know what living is.
