Rise of the Foot Soldier

Watched all of the Rise of the Foot Soldier films over the last few weeks.  Actually not bad and just mindless viewing.

The soundtracks are fantastic.

Any other recommendations of similar stuff to watch?

Would love to see them expand the series up to Boro & Glasgow

The 1st one is the true story, well as true as Carlton Leech's account of things are. The rest are purely fiction based on some elements of truth and exaggerated for viewer pleasure. Its been milked but why the hell not.

Bonded by Blood is another version of the Essex Boys murder so resembles some of the scenes from the 1st ROTFS. There is a Bonded by Blood 2 which again is based on true events about the next generation that came in after the Essex Boys but its not as a good.

Watched the original on a flight once upon a time and thought it was decent enough. Not keen on the fiction style stuff that followed.
