Just heard from the Coroner re Carmen.

Another 3 months at least before "cause of death" is finalised. That will take to nearly 10 months since she passed.

Insurance company still wont pay out until the cause of death is stamped.
The interim death cert i got from the coroner was good enough for the DWP and the banks etc but not acceptable to Scottish Widows?

Just cant "escape" Carmens passing. Its fucking torture.

Just keep saying "backlog". Its the post mortem report that is holding it up.

They have said no 3rd party involvement, no criminal doings it is a post-op care issue.

Was never going to go for compo etc through medical negligence but the longer im left in debt the more i want to kick up a stink and be a pain.

I only had Carmen home 13/14 days in 5 months. Was not that enough "punishment" for me? Why are they doing this to me after 8 months?

It is really starting to wind me up.

We are going through the same thing. It will be close on a year before we get the answer. We have the original draft which is very comprehensive, my wife has had a lot of input.

There was no life insurance to worry about.
