You already named the best war film . Long time ago I watched it if I remember it was in a few parts but all the same the best war movie I have ever seen.

I think it was on the TV originally as a series. I probably have some old Betamax tapes somewhere with it all on. I may be mistaken but it seemed to be longer than the movie

Ausgezeichnet as the Krauts say!

AtomicDog

Apocalypse now, The Longest day.

Some mad russian one about when they tried to take Afghanistan, but I can't remember the name if it.
Why must I feel like that . . . Why must I chase the 🐈

I've narrowed my choice down to 3,
Dad Boot ( the original) Paths of Glory and All Quiet on The Western Front ( the original )

And if you haven't seen Sisu then go and watch it.

I started watching Sisu and was enjoying it, then it got removed of the IPTV.

FULL Metal Jacket has to be high on the list as well.
Should of said ste, I could of got it back mate... if there is anything you want and it's not on there I can request it for you.

I think this is it:
https://m.imdb.com/title/tt0417397/

You'll know if it is cos it's subtitled  :rudi:

Good film actually.

Not as good as Rambo, cos it's not real Life.

They're making Rambo 10

Johnny's pissed cos  :westy:  dug Colonol Traitman up, so Big Nick could call Him a wazzock, tell him to get Rambo to Brum or Huddersfield, so he could Schooner Him.

I've seen the trailers it's gonna be another smasher.
Big Nick does all his own stunts too.

Keep an eye out in DDS© for all your genuine memorabilia

Watched a two part film years ago

An Italian who in 1944 went to Hungary to buy meat & ended up saving hundreds of Jews, true story. It came with sub titles, which didnt bother me, what a brave man he was

Since tried to find it but unable

After the end of the war he went home & didnt tell anyone what he had done, it was only when some people he saved went looking for him that his courageous past was told & in 1980 a statue was erected in recognition of his bravery

Posted one of the scenes

The film is already on there I am told.

I'm pretty sure Full Metal Jacket was filmed entirely in Londonistan.  :mick:
