Platoon for me.

The Army, It's a job I don't mind admitting, I haven't got the balls for.

Whooooo, now youre talking with a cracking post after football, get me thinking cap on

Platoon is brilliant

Shaving Ryan's Privates is a fairly obvious choice an all

Das Boot - the original dubbed version

RiversideRifle

Band of brothers is the best thing to do with war but if I had to say a film then it's gotta be Schindlers list if that counts

Dont do war movies really but always watch Dirty Dozen and of the later 1s Inglorious Bastards.

Didnt like Platoon, not big on the Pacific side of war films, loved Saving private Ryan mind, up there with the best

But not my favourite

Full metal jacket, Platoon, hamburger Hill and apocalypse now probably top 4. Saving Private Ryan is great, especially opening scenes, but those others are all class, a bit more raw maybe

Redcar Belgrade

Inglorious Bastards is top notch Tarantino.

Steboro

Platoon is a good shout.

Tae Guk Gi: The Brotherhood of War - Is 1 that I remember as being excellent also

The J Bear is lethal in that movie! The bit where you hear him tapping his bat is ace! The look on the Nazi soldiers faces!
Mind you i would of been bricking it as well!

teamboro

Schindlers list, Platoon TV war series Band of brothers and Pacific
TEESSIDER and Proud  of the area unlike some and I'm not a Racist

I like the more modern war films... Restrepo was good, Green Zone, Hacksaw Ridge were also good.

TommyDickfingers

Fury is decent as one of the more recent ones.

And if you haven't seen Sisu then go and watch it.

I started watching Sisu and was enjoying it, then it got removed of the IPTV.

FULL Metal Jacket has to be high on the list as well.
