Quote from: Mike Peeler on September 15, 2023, 09:16:32 AMwatched it last night - not up to much if you ask me - done on the cheap so part expected, i was expecting better like.

Definitely a name of the past and did have a nasty reputation.

Now seem to be getting a bit of a payback from the up-and-coming JCB lot who look to be taking over or have taken over the Geordie 'underworld'

The lad from around here Paul Venis was in it as Lee Duffy had one fight scene. Now whilst  Venis can obviously fight in real life he wasn't much of an actor, that scene did bring a chuckle I have to say.

Duffy splits opinion but I will always say he was fucking animal as well who could fight with it. Bully or not. I've 100% time for Allo for never backing down from him, when I would have scarpered had the cunt (Duffy) ever wanted to spark me out. :rudi:
What movie is that called Peeler Lad,  is it the one about the Sayers, did you watch it on the IPTV?

amazon (rented it online) - not worth it if you are counting the pennies - if you have a spare fiver then nothing to lose as such.

Yes, the new sayers film, a new breed of criminal.

I can afford the loss if you like, and it passed some time away watching it.

That's definitely up there with the worst films i've watched. I know it was low budget but fuck me it was bad. 0/10

Ravishing Rick Rude

Retirement Plan starting Nicholas cage.

Plot all over the place. Mixed race family. Some stealth style killing.

Shit.
5/10

Ravishing Rick Rude

Bull.

Starring Neil Maskell.
Bull mysteriously returns home after a 10 year absence to seek revenge on those who double crossed him all those years ago.

I enjoyed it. Some quality blood thirsty action in it.

Maskell plays a good part as the revenge seeking madman

The Godfather II

Rewatched it after rewatching the first one. Not quite as good imo but still a 9.5/10

I've always thought the 2nd one was the best of the 3.

It's very close to be honest.

Be fair - the closing credits weren't too bad

Ravishing Rick Rude

World Trade Centre

Absolutely harrowing to think that 12 people including Port Officials John McLoughlin and Will Jemeno survived the collapse of the towers. Unbelievable story.

Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning Part One

Always been a fan of the Mission Impossible films and this is the best one so far

Brilliant action sequences, made even better in the knowledge that Tom Cruise does all his own stunts

Best film I've seen for ages, if you like that kind of thing

Seen this last night, unbelievable true story. Go see it while it's at the pics, some of the profits go towards the fight against child trafficking, which is a multi-Billion dollar industry for the Cartels. Tim Ballard who worked for Home Land Security is the real life hero. This movie was held back by Hollywood and Disney, they wouldn't give the rights for it to be made, which tells it's own story of the people who wanted it brushed under the carpet. Certain lefty MSM won't entertain it, an example, The Guardian gave it 1/5 and dismissed what happened as fantasy. I wonder why anyone would be so dismissive on such a serious matter? You get the actual video footage of the raids and arrests at the end of the film, which puts the idea of fantasy and child abduction that they have to bed.

Some Boy Him

Watched that last night (it's just come on the IPTV) highly recommended.

There's some evil f***ers in this world.

Ballerina, watched it, a film I would never watch, it is dubbed and my wife loves John Wick types of stuff.

I would recommend it as a shite film that's worth every minute.

Rise Of The Footsoldier - Vengeance

Good for what it is. Not as blood thirsty as others but definitely missed the comedic roles of Tucker and Rolfe.

7/10
