Yes watched it last night, not bad as you say a bit over the top on some scenes but that seems to be the 'thing' these days in many action-type fils. Over-the-top kill/gun scenes. It all comes from the 'games' that are out there OTT in many cases.

I do like the lady soldier 'Golshifteh Farahani', I would not like to tackle her she is one fighting machine but well worth a romp. She is quite eye-catching to say the least.

I'd give the movie a 7 or 8 and would recommend it to others.

Inglorious Basterds  -  Still great film and the dialogue is fantastic  8.5/10

Pulp Fiction - Must be 20 years since I last watched it so felt a bit like watching a new film. Being honest I was a bit underwhelmed 6.5/10

Oppenheimer, went to the pics last night to watch it. It is 3hrs long so having the recliners to sit in was needed, normal seat would have been a mare.

Anyways, the movie itself was good and as close to factual as you're going to get. If you are interested on the subject, on how the bomb came about, then you will be happy with the resulting film. It isn't an action movie with lots of special effects, Nolan has focused on the development of the nuclear race programme and the cold war paranoia that followed after the war. Steady 7/10 from me.
