As he mighty Boro comfortably brushed aside Crystal Palace in a 2-0 win at Ayresome Park in front of 26,115

Our 1st double of the season
Our 6th home win on the bounce (so far) only the one defeat all season (our 1st home game of the season) & a new record set, going 22 games unbeaten

Alan Foggon, who I still cant believe signed for Man Utd a few seasons later, put the Boro infront with his 8th goal of the season with Dave Armstrong doubling our lead for the 2nd, his 3rd of the season, all at home

Palace had no answer to the Boro on this day, poor finishing kept the score to just two goals, haven't we heard that before

Boro fans had an excellent team, manager & a judging by what the fans had seen this season, the future looks in good hands

What a way to finish 1973!

Big Jacks team

Ural Quntz

That Foggon thing was bizarre to say the least

Didnt he sign for Manure then a few days/weeks? later sign for NUFC?

Some bonkers brown envelopes flying round there I bet

Blott

I went to every game at home that season and about 10 away. I cannot remember a kick from any of them.
