My parish let alone Redcar council will not entertain the idea of residents parking up here.

Just on my row is 12 houses.

Its the only bit without double yellows. By the time the local garage and the soft play centre have taken the 10 parking "spots" residents have to park in the car park 200 yards away.

Some of my neighbours go out early morning shopping etc but are back for 8.30 am otherwise the poor disabled 79 year old who needs her car will not get parked outside again.

Add into that 4 of the houses are holiday lets parking is impossible.

On the morning of Carmens funeral Lids car was the main car. I lost my rag with the hobby bobby because he was going to give Lids a ticket for parking on double yellows.

The hobby bobby must of been called by someone because they NEVER patrol up here.

Where i live is proof the infrastructure cannot cope with the sheer number of cars.

We as residents cannot get planning permission to knock our walls down to make a parking space instead of a patio/garden.

Unless the property is registered as a holiday let.

How is that fair?
