Referring back to appaling report about the treatment of females in the sport of horse racing.

"Did you see the case last week of a man found guilty of raping a young woman - on a London Tube?
He was convicted by the testimony of witness (male) who was in the same carriage and saw it.
He was with his young son so didn't intervene.

What chance have women got with men like that around"

Now im no "prude" but i fail to see how this warrants jokes? Women are being abused  and its time for "jokes"?

Bryonny Frost suffered immensly because of toxic masculinity in the sport. Bullied to the point of giving it up.
It was her dad Jimmy who sorted more out for her then any law did. ( as a former respected Jockey and not known to suffer fools Jimmy offered male jockeys who bullied his daughter "straightners".).

Bryonny is head and shoulders above most of her male counterparts when it comes to race riding. Im glad she has her day with the cowards and bullies everytime she beats 1 of them in a race.

I audited a Thirsk based stables in the mid 70's. The treatment of the horses was shocking, biting their ears for any reason they felt fit. I was supposed to stay in the house, it was a shit hole, I stayed in the local pub.


One of the girl lads if that doesn't sound ridiculous was used as a donkey. By coincidence I went to St Mary's with one of the lads. He was as bad as the rest and I told him, he didn't give a shit.

I refused to go the following year.
