BREXIT BENEFITS.

I WILL PLAY WITH YOU IF NO ONE ELSE WILL....

Sovereignty: One of the main advantages of Brexit is that the UK will regain its sovereignty. This means that the UK will be free to make its laws and regulations without interference from the EU. The UK can also control its borders and immigration policy, which is a significant concern for many people.

Trade: The UK can now negotiate its trade deals with countries outside the EU. The UK is the world's fifth-largest economy, and this could help to strengthen its trade relationships with countries such as the US, India, and China. The UK can also focus on developing trade relationships with emerging markets.

Budget: The UK will no longer have to contribute to the EU budget. This could mean that the UK will have more money to spend on public services such as healthcare, education, and infrastructure.

Policy autonomy: Brexit will give the UK more control over its policies and regulations. The UK can now determine its own environmental policies, agricultural policies, and energy policies. This could help the UK to address its specific needs and priorities.

Over to you.

Just how much do you charge for "extras"?....

I still havent suffered from Brexit, even though he kept telling mecI did & those who hate kiving in the UK, move then, I love the UK, love whete I live & couldnt think of living elsewhere

Next year I will be voting labour for the simple reason my daughter is a nurse, who has to cover doctors who are still striking, next year if labour get in (which I doubt) she will get up to a 35% payrise, well labour are calling out the present government to pay them what they deserve, time will come to pay them

John Trebor

He seems a bit odd but that Will Graham did sum it up for me.
The benefit of Brexit was leaving the EU. For all of the above reasons.
In my book, that trumps the lack of tasting menus in restaurants.
Smalltown just doesn't get it.
He blames every single problem he reads about on Brexit.

He goes on a football forum that has not one single connection to him otber than he knows he will get a reaction from the remainers, thats fine, I respect their choice, sonething that doesnt go hand in hand OTR
Why doesnt he stand outside a shopping centre & argue his case there & then, because 80% will just laugh at him

BoroRedKen

Hey i might get pelters here but i really do believe has some sort of "issue". The constant deflection to "victim" is concerning.

BoroRedKen

And compared to a few others he is in no way as malicious as some on there.

And i certainly do not consider him to be "Threatening". At least he is consistent and you know what to expect from him.

Some of the others i would not trust to tell me my arse was on fire till i felt the burning.

He does have issues.

As a young lad, he clearly never 'fit in'. There is no shame in that, back in the day it was tough to fit in - especially if you didn't have good lucks, where not good at a sport or if you couldn't handle yourself. For some, this left a clear scar and they have become adults desperate to fit in somewhere where they could belong.

For Smalltown that meant moving to London and trying to become upper class - looking down on those from his routes and becoming interested in anything that made him fit in - Tories, Electric Vehicles and Rugby Union etc.

He and FMTTM in general is a place with lots of 'men' who struggled when younger and now have this real belief that they are better than others and it gives them some sort of superior place on this earth.

The reality is most of them and Smalltown as a definate are just sad, miserable lonely men who feel the need to show off to a load of strangers about how great they are.

He insults anyone who does not agree with his opinion and He is a nasty little man with clear issues and i feel sorry for him sometimes.

BoroRedKen

I get you Northy.

If he had "genuine" issues i would "back off" him. I understand how the mind can work. I have suffered mentally this last few months but im trying to understand why and work on it.

I have no shame admitting that.

Believe it or not i do try to see the good in people. I detest feeling angry all the time but hopefully working on it currently will get me back to my old self.

Northallerton_Boro

i could summarise my post

He is a right cnut

Brexit was always going to be a long ride with a few bumps along with way. COVID certainly didn't help but as Erimus has said the effects have been trivial despite ST blaming it for everything.

The main issue the majority have is they're a pack of c***s. Northy put a good analogy above.

It's not about bullying people who don't fit, that's wrong, I would never do something like that to someone

It's getting what you deserve when you try to come the clever c**t all the time
If they didn't do it, it wouldn't happen.

It's backfired though as they get tortured on here . . . And they can't do a thing about it, it's class!

I'm currently in training for the free Me Mark page fun run.
As it's fancy dress I'm going as "The Boro bard" Reverend Harold Vegas.
I just can't seem to get the hair right though. Might have to go as Rose West instead or Teessides answer to Ben Grimm the colossal Biggie Small and do some Kung Fu fighting, there'll be carnage . . .

"It's clobbering time!"
Why must I feel like that . . . Why must I chase the 🐈

Kenny hit the nail on the head the other night .

Think about this !!

One of them who has such a shite life and is so bitter and twisted sent (Kenny)  a bloke the bitter twisted nutter has never met or spoke to an email demanding Kenny closes this site !!

Think about that . Most of us normal people go to work , head home have a flutter maybe a few cans do some bucking watch the telly what ever it is just the usual everyday stuff .. But not this psychotic mess his main mission was to send Kenny an email about an internet site nothing to do with him and demand it be closed down . how much of a sad pathetic fucking loser do you have to be to even do something like that  :rav:  :unbelievable:

These lefty's are deranged dangerous  sad pathetic scum Id sooner trust a dog with rabies than one of them all day long.

Blott

I will take that as a compliment. As for Small Town any bloke who changes his politics to suit is never to be trusted.

Being a lefty means I believe in the following:

The NHS
council housing ( I was brought up in them)
Taxation
Giving to charity
Spending on Police, Army, Foreign Office (I needed them twice thank god they were there ) Social Workers amongst many others.
Voting for everyone over 18yo.
OAP
Benefits for poor and disabled.
Education

If you believe in say 3 of the above it makes you a lefty just like me. And the hat you are wearing does fit. I kept it simple for obvious reasons.

The reason he said he voted for his local Tory MP he reckons, is the MP would fight IR35. Not very lefty is it ?  Probably his EV is to reduce his tax liability. Again, not very lefty.  As said above, he just struggles to fit in. His life must be pretty shit to fish for arguements on boreme.

AtomicDog

That's what it is a site full of misfits.
Harps on about brexit, yet votes Tory, IR35
A 'poet' who couldn't fill the bogs in Albert park. If you wiped your a*se with a page out of his book, you'd get more sh*t off the paper
Various 'Comedians' (f*ck knows who tells them that) about as funny as cramp.
A total fantasist, who dreams of 'fingering' his niece Wtf?
Don't forget all these are 'staunch socialists', yet wouldn't give a kid a push down a slide.

The best though the Messiah who begs people not to use ad blockers as its 'His livelyhood'- get a job you scruffy b*stard.
The sooner that place goes down the sh*tter the better.

It's like a real life version of The outer limits or tales of the unexpected
