In a first divison fixture at Ayresome Park against Sheffield United

Boro were without a league home win since beating Birmingham 2-0 on the 24th October, 2 home matches ago

In an entertaining game the Boro ran out 4-3 winners with goals from William Scott, Robert Bruce & a brace from Kenneth Cameron, taking their goal tallys to the season to 4, 5 & 6 respectfully

Attendance - 11,385

Manager Peter McWilliam in his 5th season steered the club to an 18th place finish, after finishing 22nd twice, 18th was our worse top flight finish after that, this been the third time we've finished 18th

Johnny Thunder

Looks like pretty much every team entertained in that era.
The goals for and against columns are loaded.
I think that was the era when the 4-2-4 formation was used.
Every team had a striker, inside forward and two out and out wingers.
A back four with no protection.
