Boro flashback - Those were the days when we nearly made it

Our final home game of the season, April 1975 when beating Liverpool 1-0, we were in 6th place, 6 points behind leaders Derby (2 points for a win back then) stopping the scousers winning the title, giving us a chance of qualifying for europe & ending the season on a high, one final game to go, Coventry the weekend, Boro winning 2-0 & finishing in 7th place, not bad going for our 1st top flight sesson in 20 years, could & should have won the league & FAC double
