Big Jack was at Buckingham Palace in the afternoon an honary OBE by the Queen, then onto Anfield in the evening, not a bad day at the office

Big points in the game, a game in which the magnificent Boro held Liverpool at bay

Jim Platt saved an Alex Lindsey penalty & then BAM, a last minute winner from the late, great Willie Maddren to secure a place in the QF's of the league cup
