When the Boro travelled to Wolves & came away with a 2-1 win, couresy of goals from the machine George Camsell, his 3rd of the season & John Carr with his 1st of the season

Boro started that record breaking season losing the 1st 3 games & drawing the 4th, a goaless draw away to South Shields

With only scoring the one goal in our 1st 4 games manager Herbert Bamlett decided to bring George Camsell in to the 1st team to hopefully add goals to our goaless strikeforce

The 2 games Camsell played in Boro scored 6 with George getting 2 of em, which brings us to the Wolves game, our 3rd win on the bounce & 1st away win

Remarkable to think Camsell missed the 4 games of the season, he bagged 59 league goald, including 3 penalties & 4 FAC goals

His striking partner Billy Pease scored 23 goals in 30 league games

The remarkable season when, not only GC scored the record goals which, to this day is still a 2nd division record, but winning promotion to the top flight for the 2nd time in our history scoring 115 goals
