Quote from: Blott on September 20, 2023, 05:06:54 PMWhy would I want a men's hospital? I feel safe as it is, I am not sure mature women in a mixed ward do.

What the gender pay gap in medicine looks like. In England, women hospital doctors earn on average 18.9% less than men (based on a comparison of full-time equivalent mean pay). Women GPs earn on average 15.3% less than men and clinical academics 11.9% less than men.18 May 2021

Where are these womens hospitals?
A Men's Hospital would be to specialise in illnesses specific to men or mainly affecting men. Just as women's hospitals do for women. You do want equality, don't you? And you do know men die earlier?

There is no 'pay' gap. You got it right the 2nd time, it's an 'earnings' gap due to hours worked, experience gained, responsibility taken and continuity of service. A 'pay' gap would be illegal. I'm surprised anyone still subscribes to that particular Conspiracy Theory.

London, Liverpool, Birmingham, Nottingham and hundreds of women's health centres and hundreds of women's health hubs.

I'm not including Maternity units because men tend not to get pregnant (excluding Transmen).

nice bloke.

It's absolutely right that women get their own health centres and stuff

Gadgies don't need it, most of em don't even bother going to see a doctor even if they're shitting blood, cos they're fucking stupid and pig-headed

Women have a lot more complex plumbing than us men....and all those raging hormones coursing through their bodies

If men are less likely to go to the Doctors wouldn't it make sense for men to benefit from pre-arranged appointments, national screening programs, outreach centres and awareness-raising campaigns? As women enjoy.

Prostate Cancer kills MORE than Breast Cancer but receives 1/3 of the public funding and has no specific treatment centres or monitoring schedule. How come early detection is only crucial if you're female?

If men need more help, why do we offer men less?

There is a monitoring schedule for prostate cancer....

And you're insinuating that there's no awareness campaigns for male cancer, which is just wrong....take the chip off your shoulder, for fucks sake

How? You must have recorded a high PSA or exhibited symptoms?

Did it start up when you reached 55 or did you just think I'll get my PSA checked tomorrow?

Can you show me this monitoring schedule?

Can you show me this governmental awareness-raising campaign for men's health?

Chips on shoulders are proving very effective for women's health provision, for fucks sake.

There are national breast and cervical screening programmes for every woman in this country yet men have a 'chip on their shoulder' if they want equal health provision so they don't die younger and in greater numbers.

Some men really need to wise-up....quick
