This day 1992 - Our 1st ever PL home game

3 days after losing our opening day fixture at Coventry City 2-1 the previous saturday we played our 1st ever PL home game on this day 1992 with Man City been our visitors for this tuesday night game,  Bernie Slaven, who else, bagged a brace in our 2-0 win at good auld Ayresome Park

This was the 1st season of the PL with the mighty Boro there right at the beginning of it all
