And the fact that CO2 levels in the atmosphere increased significantly since the industrial revolution is just pure coincidence?

The industrial revolution spanned 1760 to 1840 but CO2 levels in the atmosphere weren't measured at all until David Keeling of the Scripps Institution of Oceanography initiated it in 1958

The only way to ESTIMATE CO2 levels prior to that is by using ice core samples.
Oddly enough these methods were disputed by the "scientific community" who espouse the whole climate change theory because the core samples also showed that temperatures were significantly higher thousands of years ago, and that CO2 was much higher millions of years ago.
