Back again for another toe to toe with the bookmakers on day three of the festival.


Missed out on a placepot jackpot yesterday 5 out 6 came home, but still no cigar.

I like the look of this 1 Mikey P.

Maybe i would of tweaked it a bit with maybe 2 selections in races over 8/9 runners.

It gives you a chance of getting more than 1 line up.

I dont know if you know how that works but its simple.

If you pick 2 horses in say 4 races your bet works out like this.

1x2x1x2x2x2. That would make 16 lines. 20p a line £3.20 stake.

I wouldn't care I thought it had come home Ken, the placepot.

My online Ladbrokes account was paying 4 places in race five and Dappering came 4th, but the course was 3 places only for the pot, on 11 runners. So all came home bar race 5 which was 4th, won at the bookies online and lost on the course in the end - so ended up with naff all.
