Warnock is not a gob**#@% as mentioned OTR, he's the best championship manager of all time (fact) & the fans should be grateful for saving us from certain relegation, it turned sour in the end but he did what was asked of him

I loved it when he first came and was delighted when he was given a full season after he saved us.
It started to go wrong after the first Jan transfer window and to be honest I started to go off him as a manager due to some of the things he said (football stuff, not Boris). Don't ask me for specifics, I can't remember them 😄
With hindsight he shouldn't have been given the second season due to all the changes going on behind the scenes. It wasnt fair to him. There was too much conflict and was never going to work.
It was a shame how it ended but I suppose it all led to Carrick.

Yes I agree, as much as I have always wannted him to manage us his final season was a poir one & I kbew it just wasnt goung to work, I said that OTR at the time

I thought exactly the same. Turned out to be one of the biggest disasters. I'll include Monk in that. Although at least with Monk I was quite certain that was never going to work.

Wilder was another who I thought would have taken us up.

When Monk came here all through the summer leading up to his announcement I was posting OTR to go out & get Warnock, we had money to burn, a good, established team, with a bit of fine tuning & a few key signings we would have done very well, but Gibbo, who he thought, best brought in Monk
