The musical genius bit is a bit OTT.

The suicide of her son was awful beyond belief. But she still had 3 other children.
Taking her own life will do no good for her remaining family.

A sad story all round.

But some of her views had caused a certain "cancellation" of her. I choke with vomit reading OTR about her.
She was no Debbie Harry, Janis Joplin, Carole King, Tina Turner or Annie Lennox in terms of "powerful" women songwriters/musicians.
