I cannot think of anything worse. OK waking up in your coffin as the curtain closes.

It's about to get a whole lot worse when Labour win.
Innocent men in prison will be the norm.

What a load of baloney.

Of all the daft messages I have ever read that's in the top 5.

You have zero evidence to back that up.

Here's a less stupid message I made up.'you can chew ball bearings'

I can cope with reasoned debate I disagree with but putting up unreasonable crap I hard to bare.

Hey up though Rutters!

SKS has said a woman is an adult female!

Mr Flip Flop himself FINALLY commits an opinion!

OTR will want him out now. He will be transphobic now.

Under a Tory government 1 person getting offended by me was enough to get me raided and nicked remember Blotty.
Under Labour i would have been in the Tower!!

Ey-up kenny

Just to let you know that, when DPP, SKS was also the instigator of the 'Believe all Women' mantra which means that poor blokes like the above was to be automatically disbelieved.

He wanted alleged perpetrator publicised (whilst anonymising accusers) so that any malicious women can point the finger with impunity and people like our ball-bearing chewer friend can say 'They can't all be lying'.

Where is it Labour policy to withhold information? The rest seems common sense to me.

Did you make that up or is it Labour policy? Starter is a top top solicitor Barrister. Starmer became a barrister in 1987 at the Middle Temple, becoming a bencher there in 2009. He served as a legal officer for the campaign group Liberty until 1990. He was a member of Doughty Street Chambers from 1990 onwards, primarily working on human rights issues.

As for Vera Baird her opinions are hers not mine.

You are defending stupidity.

I agree on that. It's a bit like not being gay, it's illegal.

If you think that the law shouldn't treat both sides equally and be driven by targets rather than innocence then I hope you're not a lawyer.

Read anything by Iman Zayna.

Its her case that is putting the boot up GMP.

Horrific story. The lass deserves justice.

Hope you misread that Poolie.

The fact the appeal committee have twice knocked the same evidence back that got him released after the 3rd attempt should be enough to pay the guy up.

so you made that list up.

I completely believe everyone should be treated equally.

Not once in the far too many times I was in front of a judge were they anything but fair.

rutters

Could you be more specific please?

Blott

No. I was a prosecuting witness in a few crown court and at least 10 magistrate fraud cases.

One was a very well known individual at the time, he was found not guilty. He was given £1 in compensation and told to pay his own costs. Judges know the score.

Poolielad

Just read this about this chap... I mentioned something similiar the other day!!!

So on a brief reading of this story it seems that accurate DNA evidence has seen him proved innocent, yet if (and it is an if) he gets any compensation then he may well lose a big chunk of it down to a 'board and lodging' fee!! This is a calculation made to how much money he's saved in rent and TV licenses etc because he's been in prison. I mean WTF.

This is wrong on so many counts that I don't know where to start - but as a start, how about billing all of the many rightly convicted criminals board and lodge?

At present, found guilty/do porridge/come out/no charge.
At present, found guilty but proved wrongly convicted/falsely do porridge/come out/charge.
