A last couple of minutes revival/sudden wakening gave us a result we didnt really deserve

Auxerre were a very tidy team that took the two chances we donated them with stupid errors - where have we seen that before?

We should have been two goals up were it for very poor finishing by Barlaser and then Coulson who both missed easy chances to score

We started playing with some zip and drive with th e2 minutes left and had them back pedalling although by theat time they had changed pretty much their whole team

Ratings

Deing - 7 seems comfortable playing out (maybe too far!) No chance with the goals
McNair - 5 adequate at right back
Coulson - 4 seemed to be trying to keep up with the game rather than dictating it. Missed an easy chance gave away the pen
Fry and Lenihan - 7 each both solid Fry took a bit of a knock and Van Den Berg came on also for a very solid. Just as well as Fry clearly is going to continue with injury problems game

Barlaser - 4 still seems lacking pace for me missed a sitter and gave away the ball for the penalty
Crooks - 4 Donkey should be a replacement for Fry or Lenihan in emergence or a last 10 minute Hail Mary up front. Not a starter
Hackney - 8 star of the game for us just lacking the final ball at times. scored with a looping deflection
McGee - 6 showed energy but to little effect
Forss - 6 same as McGee

Rogers - 6 put himself about but no Chuba Akpom skill wise. Tap in late on

Subs
Van Den Berg - 7 good signing
Silvera - 7 gave us some life taking on players. Bit like Archer was on the left
Jones - 6 why did he stop taking players on?
Payero - 5 tried hard enough but nothing of note

Overall pretty lifless until the last 4 minutes

About right mate, silvera VD berg look good but squad depth is poor

Chuba needs to fuck off or start playing.

Even Ravanelli scored for us in the only game he played after we got relegated

Until we get the money how do we go about getting a reasonable replacement?
