How different things could've been for Coventry in the last few years.

TeessideTopgun

Wonder if he fancies being No. 2 to MC ??

erimus74

Does that now make Carrick the longest serving Championship manager?
And he's only been here two years

That's both the Stoke & Coventry managers sacked soon after thumping us at the Riverside

borope

Paul Warne at Derby now the longest serving at just over 2 years. Carrick second. Mad isnt it ?

BoroRedKen

Bob bob bobbin to the dole office now.

fukyu

He did a good job for them on limited resources.Had us over the last couple of years.

ZiEgE

He's a cracking manager, that club was in turmoil when he went there.

He stabilized them and very nearly got them to the promised land, even having all his best players sold every summer.

And a whisker away from two cup finals following the playoffs when one of the worst thing sadly brought into football when VAR took away one of the biggest FAC upsets of all time

I've heard they want to change the whole set up.. he is more of a manager and they want to go for a head coach set up.

They must have folks lined up for this tho.. it seems crazy to do it right now. otherwise.

Clem Fandango

Robbins did really well for them considering their low budget, repeatedly selling their best players and having to rebuild several teams.  He had a couple of promotions, play off final and FA cup semi.  The Chairman seems to have tried his best to undermine him at every turn.  Very odd.

Gboro64

Wow. I really don't get this.
He is one of the best managers in the championship and has done wonders with them.
He seems to have Carricks card marked.
30 years ago his record at Coventry would have got him a top job
