LAD I KNOW 64 YEAR OLD HAS DIED....WAS A SUDDEN DEATH BUT HE HAS HAD A LONG ILLNESS....MUST OF KNOWN HE WAS GOING TO DIE AS HE HAS ARRANGED HIS OWN FUNERAL..
HE'S GONE FOR A PURE ONE WHERE NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO ATTEND  😞😞😞

WAS QUITE A POPULAR LAD AND SOME PEOPLE ARE WONDERING WHY....WON'T POST HIS NAME BECAUSE IT'S OBVIOUSLY HIS CHOICE  👍
GET WELL SOON STEVE G

My Uncle was cremated this way so my dad couldn't go to his brother's funeral it's a cheaper way no sadness you don't know when the cremation takes place just a rough idea personally I think it's a great idea
TEESSIDER and Proud  of the area unlike some and I'm not a Racist

Me and the wife both have non attendance pre paid funerals set up with Pure. We asked our son first if he was ok with it which he was. I've told him to take money out of what i'll be leaving him to have a piss up on me with my mates on the weekend, on or after the funeral. Let's face it, who likes going to funerals. At least this way they can go to the pub casually dressed any time of the day (or night knowing my son as i'm sure it'll be and all day sesh).

If you remember Lids Carmens funeral was limited to numbers.

Carmens was the 1 above a Pure.

My daughter has my "info".
With Carmen passing suddenly we had no plans made. I think its a good thing we can prepare our own send offs whether it be private or many attendees.

First of all I would like to say sorry for your loss. It is always a difficult time when we lose a friend or loved one and even more so when you feel you cannot pay your respects.

Pure cremation is becoming popular with people and we have to respect their choice. Tony hits the nail on the head by saying he and his wife are leaving money for his family to go and celebrate their lives at a chosen date.  There friends can go and celebrate and not mourn their memory.

It is difficult for a friend to accept because it is not the norm but it is becoming that way and you are hearing about more and more people going down this route.

I feel silly suggesting you get together with your mates and have a few beers in his memory because I'm sure you all will.

Once again, I offer my condolences.

For some people a service gives closure and a chance to say goodbye. It's not about the deceased it's the family left behind who may take comfort from it.I'm getting cremated using recyclable coffin and no priest or hymns or any religious shit.just three song I liked.A brief eulogy if the family want one then into the furnace and they can go to the pub.
You're born you live you die bye bye. :morgan:

No I might be mistaken for a refugee. :rudi:

Too Much Perspective

A Requiem and interment for me, followed by quite a long stint in purgatory, no doubt.
A bit like Boro's current stint in the Championship.

You mean we're not already there?

Then what fresh hell is this place?  :unbelievable:
