1000s off elderly Teessiders have just had a much needed £400 stripped away from then in the face of rising energy costs over the winter period, leaving some with the dilemma of whether to "heat or eat" - impact assessment carried out predicted this policy could lead to deaths of up to 4000 pensioners, no doubt many in poorer areas such as Teesside

Where are you? Should be holding these MPs to account who voted for this.

Next is the proposed cut to the single persons council tax - 25% increase in council tax for those who are single and have likely to have the least disposable income.

Surely you should be out pressuring local MPs that this policy is another attack on the poorest in society, get the truck out, get the bedsheets painted, make a song up and make it known that Teesside isn't going to stand for this!

A cynic would think they are actually an anti tory group, as opposed to a pro people of Teesside group.

Get on the fly over next game with the messages, drive down Redcar sea front stating "We're not gonna take it"

Great post, Geoff. As you say, I think they need to rename themselves the anti Tory teessiders.

They've all gone incredibly quiet otr. Labour mayor of Middlesbrough and there's still food banks, poverty and the streets still aren't paved with gold. To top it all off, the pensioners are now poorer too under their government. It would be laughable if it wasn't so tragic.

Should we tar them all with the same brush? Labour scum, perhaps?

Disappointed, they could have swelled their numbers with a good campaign against the WFA and projected single persons council tax cut to come
