RIGHT....I ASKED KEN TO DO ME A BIG FAVOUR AS MY 2 DAUGHTERS WHERE BOTH AT WORK....MY MOTHER GOES EVERY YEAR TO A FRIENDS BIRTHDAY PARTY IN SANDSEND...WOMAN HAS BIG HOUSE ON THE BEACH....FROM ABOUT 10 TILL 5.


MY DAD HAS SENILE DEMENTIA AND ALZHEIMERS AND MY MOTHER NEVER WANTED TO LEAVE HIM ALONE FOR 7 HOURS...SO KEN VOLUNTEERED 👏👏👏 TO COME ROUND AND TAKE HIM OUT FOR A FEW HOURS 🙏

BUT A FEW HOURS BEFORE MY MOTHER CANCELLED AS SHE WAS NOT FEELING WELL...COME BACK FROM SPAIN LAST WEEK AND HAS CAUGHT SOME VIRUS ON THE PLANE..OLD SPANISH COUGH PROBABLY...BUT HATS OFF TO KEN FOR THE GREAT GESTURE 🙏🙏🙏

Hey you know what i think about your ma and pa lids.

Lot of time for both of them but i like your old fella. Love trying to get him to think back and talking about old movies and music.
And he still has that badboy glint in his eyes!

It does break my heart that i have to reintroduce myself to him though.

I honestly feel like sobbing every single time.

What an awful soul destroying illness that is.

None of us really know what is going on in others private lives.

Its not always about footy and beer.

Its about living a real life.

My only thought was to give Lids old fella a change and to let his mum get out for a few hours without having to worry about P.

Despite the crap i have caused myself i cant stop caring about people that i meet and like.

Friends come and go.
But it dont mean that i dont care about them or their loved 1s. No matter what i will always be the 1st 1 there if im needed or can help.

This last 3 years friends have kept me going and sane.
That changes nothing in my eyes.

Regardless of what they say about me.

A terrible affliction that is worse for the families who see their loved ones like that.  That advert on the radio for dementia where he says his mother "dies" several times through loss of memory is  heartbreaking. Well done for helping out.
