from the Birmingham job.

100% understandable doing what is best for his health, his recovery and of course Birmingham City

What an absolute hero. Wishing him a speedy recovery! Sunderland dropped an absolute bollock getting rid of Mowbray. He's work was felt through the promotion squad that Karanka managed.

He has one hell of an eye for a player and hope he drops a few winks and nudges Steve Gibson's way in return for a bottle of Lucosade and a bag of revels!

He can't need the money anymore Erimus.

I wish Mogga a speedy recovery and hope he can enjoy his retirement. He's earned it.

Tony Mowbray says he plans to get back into management once he is ready which could take a number of months..

"Every football club I've ever been at has been supportive, they've all invited me to come and watch some games.

"I feel as if I'm almost ready, I want to go back to work sometime soon, in the next few months.

"I appreciate I'm still a bit weak and to be a football manager you need energy, you need to be at it all the time.

"I need to give myself a few months, probably playing golf and walking 18 holes. I've got three teenage boys who all play golf.

Really good news! I'll stick by his team finishing above Sunderland..

Next club?

Struggling? Championship? Northern? Young Squad?

Preston? Hull? Burnley?

No I wont have thought so, probably still misses the buzz of it all & what better way than to put the nightmare of the past 6 months behind him than get back to something he loves

The club should offer Mogga some role if he is up to it. Be it a club ambassador or equivalent.

Only if his health permits.

It sounds like he's looking to get back into management.

That's exactly what I was going to say. He might love it but the stress isn't worth it. You don't wanna work yourself into an early grave.

Maybe there's a less stressful role for him in football somewhere.

With his house being up for sale.. I was wondering if he maybe fancied managing abroad? El Mogga anyone?
