Erimus, I was a coward. As the dreaded deadline neared, I feared the worst and couldn't listen to radio reports.

It was like waiting for a hangman to come and do his grizzly business.

Honestly thought our beloved Boro were literally going to the wall.

Thankfully, at the 11th hour we were saved.

But oh it was so close........

I remember me & my soon to be wife were in her inlaws discussing our wedding plans, our wedding was a week before the Port Vale fixture, listening to the radio the news came on with the latest updates of the Boro & while my fiancee was in full flow if what we'll do I said, sshhhhhhhhh, I was nearly divorced vefore getting married, 😉

Did you think about who you would support if it all went tits up?

I figured Darlo - now that would have been out of the frying pan!

On one hand I was listening to every news bulletin hoping for any small bits of good news, anything to cling onto regarding the Boro & on the other hand preparing our wedding, couldnt have more opposite

The Boro officially went into voluntary liquidation on my wifes birthday
