Back in 1900 a home fixture against Lincoln City at our Linthorpe road ground

Boro started the season with a 2-0 win with goals from William Wardrobe & Alexander'Sandy'Robertson, both scoring their first club goals, Robertson on his debut & Wardrobe who played the final 2 games of the previous season

This was our second season as a league club having opened our fixture last season with a 3-0 defeat at Lincoln City, this day back in 1900 we reversed it
