Thought John Neal got it wrong buying Jim Stewart, IMHO Pat Cuff was as good

John Neal gave bith Pat Cuff & Dave Brown 10 games each to see if either were good enough to challenge Jim Platt for the No1 jersey decided neither were & in the summer of 1978 he paid £135k record fee for a Boro GK & even putting him in front of Jim Platt as our No1 😔

Jim Stewart was poor. We had to wait until we signed Pears until we had a decent successor to Platt.
