Watched the panel on the iPlayer after the match and they've absolutely laid into Southgate. Put the little 'I don't know what goes on or what they've been told' in before they say anything, but basically saying it's all his fault and he hasn't got a clue. Proper stabbed him in the back.

The goal wouldn't have been given even without VAR.
The ref/asst flagged it offside and VAR didn't overturn it.

In fact, without VAR we would probably have disagreed with that decision and be crying out for some technology to help the ref.
