I remember that game erimus, he had at least three one on one's with pearsy and he stopped the lot, it should have been 6-5 to them on chances, bloody football eh!.

Yea Stephen Pears was injured the back end of our relegation season & his MOTM performance was more remarkable with it been his first game of the season after his long lay off & with no pre match football games either, when you take that into account & the perform he put in

So sad. Forgot he played for Arsenal. Surprised he didn't make a senior appearance for England. Had a good scoring record for the type of striker he was.
