Bizarre fact:

🇰🇷 South Korea have a phrase known as 'Leeds Days' used by millions of South Korean's even if they don't know the football club.

This phrase refers specifically to Alan Smith and the fact that he was seen as this great young hope, for England and for Leeds, but whose career never reached the heights it might have attained, after he left Leeds to join Manchester United in 2004.

You refer to someone's 'Leeds Days' as the point in their life where things peaked, before going downhill.

a boro day has to be punching above your weight, beating the best, pulling a world class Brazilian.. and on the same day getting totally done over by some absolute gimp

The only way I could pull a major Brazilian is if I go on a hair removal course.

Wasn't there a 'Luther Blisset Fan Club' in Italy?
They weren't really his fans but used his name to represent media manipulation. Or something.

"Chiunque può essere Luther Blissett, semplicemente adottando il nome Luther Blissett" [Anyone can be Luther Blissett simply by adopting the name Luther Blissett]

I didn't recognise the name tbh! But I've heard of this.. it's like a name artists adopt to remain anonymous but remain part of some sort of collective.

Pretty sure the KLF were somehow involved in something like this.
