Went to see him tonight! Absolutely brilliant, been a big fan for years since the seahorses at the town hall and then with the yards at Blakey Ridge. Cool to hear(for me) some of the stories of how the songs came together. You Can Talk To Me came about after a five day party in Los Angeles.. apparently talking to someone on his bed for hours and then said he had to go to bed.. turned out he had just been talking to himself in the mirror!

This was a single after their first album and apparently the first song that him and John Squire had properly written together.. they split up not long after.

The story I heard was that they had sold it for a bunch of money to car-phone warehouse.. Chris Helme went out with Shed Seven getting pissed and was bragging about it.. their manager undercut The Seahorses and sold 'speakeasy' to the car/phone warehouse.. I was gonna ask if it was true.. but it's to good of a story to find out it's just a load of bollocks.

Yeah, they put some decent gigs on. The food is really good. I'm not a vegan.. it doesn't taste vegan!
