When I was doing combat medic training in A&E at Wexham Park hospital, the drummer from 10cc came in early one morning with a head wound, said his missues hit him with a big crystal ashray....was a strange character, although he was rat arsed

Will admit im a fan also like a lot of Godley and Creme stuff.

I once got hit right between the eyes with the rounded end of 1 of them old Beldray white metal ironing boards!

Boy that hurt. So a crystal ashtray would pack a right wallop i imagine!.

Is that why or are they in lots of hospitals LG?

I have to say even though there is no weapons they give you a bit more sense of security in JCUH.

Seen the security getting a bit bother off a couple of scrotes on the rob and 2 "squaddies" wandered over the the little scallywags soon took off!

I liked them. Very inventive band. A bit of useless trivia - I'm Not in Love had sections rerecorded over 100 times before the band was happy with the end result. Perfectionists for sure.

Should have said I've had no interest in bikes really, cycling yes, always cycled, still do to this day, but motorbikes nah, my two younger brothers use to go to the speedway on Stockton road
I went the once, only because my grandad (Pop) was on the gate & let me in but soon realised it was football only & nothing else

Both my brothers had small bikes as teenagers

Wrexham Park was my local at the time. What better place to get hands on experience with bleeding, breathing, breaks and burns... First time I witnessed someone dying..poor bugga had been out shopping...still very vivid
