Carmens pathology and death report.

I started to read and my heart broke again. I cant finish it.

She was braver and tougher than any bloke i have ever known.

I miss her so much.

Just got a call from the registry office.

I only have until tomorrow to arrange an appt for tomorrow otherwise because it will be, because of the bank holiday, over 1 year since she passed that it would then need to be sent somewhere to get permission for a cert to be issued.

That could take 3 months. None of this is my doing. Why am i the "penalised"? I did not take 51 weeks to sort it.

 :unbelievable:

Add in if i want a death cert i have to pay £11.
Which i need for the pension wankers.

That's fuckin shite.

Got to admit my patience is wafer thin with red tape and bureaucracy.

When my mother died the doctor put down the date of death incorrectly by 1 day. Nothing suspicious about her death but the nonsense that error caused was ridiculous. Police interviews, GMC investigations, forms to be filled out in triplicate.
Meanwhile my mother was being held in storage in the Funeral Directors for 6 weeks before we could arrange her funeral.
Nothing like your experience Ken, but it makes me realise how crap it all can get. Bureaucracy always seems to trump common sense.
My thoughts are with you.

That must of been awful Minty. Carmens was because of the backlog etc not because of a simple error that could of been changed with a stroke of a pen mate.

I do feel like i can breathe a bit easier though. Dont want to read the report. It cant tell me anything we did not know anyway just in medical jargon.

Scottish Widows are getting both barrels tomorrow!

I might even phone the pension company and all!

We're at Teesside crown court for an inquest into my Mother in Laws death. She had been poorly for a while and admitted to hospital. While in Hospital she had a fall and broke her hip and wrist. Despite being wheelchair bound for months they had encouraged her to try and walk. She died 2 weeks later. The coroner wasnt happy with the care she had in hospital and investigated. After 10 months the death certificate was finally issued with the hip fracture on it as one of the causes of death. Not sure what to expect tomorrow ?

Cant offer any advice on that mate. It must be hard having to listen and go through her passing again.

Thoughts and prayers will be with you and yours tomorrow buddy.
